Win AED1,000 vouchers at Le Clos by MMI – competition courtesy of Le Clos

Le Clos at Dubai International Airport - Buying alcohol in Dubai - FoodivaI bet you didn’t know that you can order your favourite tipple online or in-store at Dubai International airport, and pick it up on your return, avoiding the hassle of choosing a vintage just after a red-eye flight. Well that’s where Le Clos Fine Wines & Luxury Spirits comes in. Just in time for your summer holiday getaway! So how does this service work?

With six stores across Dubai International airport’s departure terminals including the stunning new Concourse D in Terminal 1, you can peruse the duty free champagne, wine and spirits collections at leisure, with guidance from qualified advisors. Or if you’re an advance planner, visit the website www.leclos.net, where you can take advantage of the click and collect service. Either way, a Le Clos concierge will meet you upon landing back at Dubai airport 24/7, with your bottles.

With over 1,300 wines and 400 spirits from the world’s best producers, prices start at a very affordable AED100 (French champagne included), right through to some of the world’s most sought-after bottles. To give you an example, one of my favourite champagnes (and Winston Churchill’s!), the Pol Roger Brut is only AED150. Complimentary bottle engraving is available to make any bottle even more special, and you can also try before you buy with free in-store tastings.

Here at FooDiva we have partnered with Le Clos to give away two vouchers, each worth AED1,000, redeemable at one of their six stores at Dubai International Airport or online – valid until the end of the year (2016).

All you need to do to enter our competition, is tell us your favourite alcoholic drink and why. This can be a particular vintage, a cocktail, or just a spirit straight-up. Leave your answer as a comment on this post AND using the submission form below. You can increase your chances of winning by commenting and sharing the competition post on FooDiva’s Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram channels using the hashtag #WinLeClos. The competition closes on 4th June when the clock strikes midnight, and two winners will be picked randomly (through random.org) on 5th June. You will have 24 hours to claim your prizes otherwise we’ll have to select other winners.

If you’re not lucky enough to win, when you spend AED300 at Le Clos online, you will receive a complimentary bottle of Champagne Pouillon – use coupon code FOODIVA when purchasing online. So you see, everyone’s a winner 🙂 Offer valid until 10th July 2016.

Good luck!
